I gave our living room a little refresh before spring! After the holidays it had been partially decorated and just looked…sad. I bought a new rug, but it was a little bit more navy blue than was pictured so it’s currently upside down. I’ll link a similar neutral rug that I love below. Sources for our cozy living room can be found at the bottom of this post!
I shared a reel on Instagram showing you how to get any downloaded artwork (or photos) onto your Samsung Frame TV. In today’s post I wanted to share some of my favorite artwork for winter and spring! Etsy has so many options and you can even find images for under $1!
Studio McGee for Threshold at Target is back for Spring 2022! There are so many fun and on-trend pieces, my favorite being this burled wood accent table. I’ve linked some more of my favorites in today’s post!

Christmas is over and if you’re missing all of the green in your home- this post is for you! Replacing your Christmas tree with a faux tree is a great solution to add warmth and life back into your space for the new year. I found an AMAZING faux fiddle leaf tree on Amazon that is 10 feet tall! I’m also sharing a few others we have in our home in today’s post!
Did you know that Home Depot sells much more than home improvement items and tools? That’s right, they sell bedding, furniture, and home decor accessories too! They have so many items to choose from. In today’s post I’m sharing some of the pieces I recently added to our guest bedroom for the holidays and a mood board so you can recreate this room at your own home!
This year I wanted to switch things up and add a pop of red to my normal black & white color scheme for Christmas. These red disco balls are so much fun and I love adding a little bit of red to each package! The Burberry inspired ribbon pulled it all together and I love how it turned out! In today’s post you can shop everything on the tree as well as the gift wrap!
I cannot believe Christmas is less than two weeks away! This month has flown by, but I couldn’t go without sharing our formal living room all gussied up for the holidays with you! I didn’t go too crazy in this room and kept it simple since this is also where our large Christmas tree is. I loved how everything turned out this year and I’m sharing where you can find everything in today’s post!
This year I styled out modern black kitchen similar to how I styled it last year however, this year I went for a faux garland! Real garland quickly died in the Florida humidity last year. In today’s post I’m giving you some simple tips to style your kitchen for the holidays and some tips to style open shelves! You can read more about our modern black kitchen here.
I love decorating our living room for Christmas! I like to keep it neutral in here. Since the kitchen is on the other side of this room, I feel like the rooms need to be designed with a yin-and-yang element. The kitchen is really dark, so I like to keep the living room bright, light, and airy. Keep reading to see all of the photos and to shop this room!
We FINALLY got our first king size bed!! The one we ordered back in August has yet to ship so we ordered this upholstered bed off of Amazon! It is such a steal and I love the modern look of it! Keep reading to see more photos of our modern main bedroom styled for Christmas and to shop this room!
Jett had been sleeping in his crib with the toddler conversion piece on it for over a year so we decided it might be time to upgrade! We were supposed to be getting a king size bed (our first!) for our main bedroom, so we decided to try to get Jett’s big boy room ready by the time the new bed was coming so he could have ours. Well, 2021 shipping delays had other plans but we went ahead and spruced his room up since we had been hyping him up about it for awhile! In today’s post you can see the before and after, more details about the DIY’s, and shop all of the pieces in his new room!
Since we moved into our Florida home, I’ve wanted to create a cozy corner in our main bedroom. We moved in over a year ago and the day has finally come! I’m partnering with Joss & Main to showcase a few of their Winter Edit pieces and I’m so happy with the way this bedroom nook turned out! Keep reading for more inspiration and tips to create your own cozy nook.
This year I made some simple swaps on our entryway console and it’s ready for fall! You don’t have to have fall pieces everywhere and I’ll explain more in today’s post and share my favorites that make the biggest impact. Keep reading for all of the details and shopping links!
I’m so excited to completely decorate our home for fall this year. Last year it was still under construction so I just had some fall decor here and there. This year I got to decorate our living room and it feels SO cozy! The warm neutrals and candles (both faux and real) really warm up the space. I’m so excited to share it with y’all! Keep reading to see all of the photos and to shop this room.
One of my favorite parts about decorating for a new season is swapping our our bedding! Even if you just swap out throw pillows and blankets, it can make a room feel so different. For fall I like to incorporate cozy textures and warm tones. In today’s post I’m sharing all of the items I used in our bedroom update as well as another fall bedding idea!
I’ve been having so much fun creating artwork for our home! You probably could tell if you’ve seen this and this, but in today’s post I’m sharing a piece that I made for our bedroom. I also made the frame and it was pretty simple. I used power tools but you don’t necessarily need them! Keep reading for some tips as well as a list of tools I used for both the painting and the frame.
We have a large room in the front of our home we had no idea what to do with. It’s to the right of our front door so we wanted the space to be bold but useful at the same time. So we settled on the idea of an “informal” formal living room. It’s basically a second living room without a TV but it makes our home feel so warm and cozy the second you walk through the door!
I found this painting on Tiktok and knew I needed it in our home! The black version however was sold out, so I decided to make one of my own that was the perfect size for our modern home office. We just moved the Minsmere cabinet I painted black into the office for more storage and the only thing missing was some modern abstract artwork! In today’s post I’m sharing how I created this painting and all of the supplies I used.
Fall is on it’s way and I’m getting excited to decorate! It feels like summer until Christmas in Florida, but it’s still fun to get into the spirit of fall. In today’s post I’m sharing fall decor finds from Amazon, West Elm, and Pottery Barn! There are so many cute items this year!
When we moved into our fixer upper, the laundry room wasn’t too high up on our list. However, after the 1980’s washer flooded half of the house, we changed our minds! I had the opportunity to partner with Tailored Living to design our dream laundry room and I couldn’t be more excited to share the before and after photos with you! The laundry room turned out even better than I had imagined and we have so much usable space that we’ve never had before. It’s amazing!
I hardly ever style a piece of furniture without books. They’re a great way to set the mood for a vignette, you can mix colors depending on your style, and they’re great for corralling objects. I love styling them with a tray and candles in the entryway (like above) and in today’s post I’m sharing more ways to style coffee table books as links to all of the books we have in our home!
For summer, I wanted to lighten things up in our main bedroom so it felt more airy calm. I love H&M linen bedding so I grabbed a couple of their shams, a new throw blanket, and swapped out the shams for these from Amazon and it completely transformed the space!
I swapped a few items out in our entryway and it’s ready for summer! Last year I bought this rattan console from Target and at the time it didn’t come in black. I bought myself a paint sprayer and sprayed the entire piece (read more about that here). It now comes in black but it’s often sold out, so in today’s post I also shared a way to style the natural color-way!
ince I started working from home I’ve never really had a space of my own. I’d spend hours sitting on the sofa working on my computer and I always felt so unmotivated and way too cozy! So a few months ago I set out to find a desk that would work in our guest bedroom. I wanted to DIY something so it wouldn’t be too expensive and the perfect size. Back in March I was actually having a really bad day and decided to go thrifting to boost my mood and I found the perfect console to use as a desk!
I love a good black and white throw pillow combo, don’t you? In today’s post I’m rounding up some of my favorite modern throw pillow covers and showing you how to pair sizes on your sofa! Read more to shop them all.
Amazon is one of my favorite places to hunt for affordable home decor finds and they have so many great pieces for your kitchen. For our modern open shelves, I wanted to decorate with items you’d actually use in a kitchen, I don’t use them necessarily, but they still look pretty! Of course there’s a lot of marble because you just can’t go wrong with it’s natural beauty! Keep reading to shop these #amazonfinds and more!
After I posted a Tiktok about our modern doors and doorknobs, I got so many questions about them! I had no idea y’all would be so interested in something like this so I’m putting all of the information and shopping links into this post for you. Keep reading to shop our exact hardware and learn more about our doors!
HALEY’S MODERN HOME DECOR WISH LIST //

It’s that time of year- back to school! I’ll be honest, I get a little sad and nostalgic when it comes to BTS. Another school year means our kids are growing older but it also makes me think of those first day of school jitters and excitement. What it also makes me think of is all of the back to school supplies! I LOVED shopping for school supplies and checking off my list. Filling my desk or locker with all of the goodies- it was so fun! This year I thought- why have I stopped doing this for myself?! I don’t need a whole list of items but it’s a great time to stock up on some home office essentials and re-organize my space to meet the needs of my growing business! So that’s exactly what I did at Walmart!
