Did you know that The Home Depot sells much more than home improvement items and tools? That’s right, they sell bedding, furniture, and home decor accessories too! They have so many items to choose from. In today’s post I’m sharing some of the pieces I recently added to our guest bedroom for the holidays and a mood board so you can recreate this room at your own home!

The first item that I purchased was actually for our powder bathroom. It was so pretty I couldn’t help but hang this mirror in the guest bedroom! The small gold shelf is the perfect way to add seasonal touches like bottle brush trees. I recently stole the lamp out of our guest bedroom for our main bedroom, so that was the next item on my list. This black globe lamp was the perfect fit! I love how it mimics some of the other lighting in our home. One other item I desperately needed for our guest bedroom was a new sheet set. This black and white stripe set fit the bill but if you look closely, you’ll see that they have little red hearts on them! Just perfect for the holidays and I can use them for Valentine’s day, too!

It’s that time of year- back to school! I’ll be honest, I get a little sad and nostalgic when it comes to BTS. Another school year means our kids are growing older but it also makes me think of those first day of school jitters and excitement. What it also makes me think of is all of the back to school supplies! I LOVED shopping for school supplies and checking off my list. Filling my desk or locker with all of the goodies- it was so fun! This year I thought- why have I stopped doing this for myself?! I don’t need a whole list of items but it’s a great time to stock up on some home office essentials and re-organize my space to meet the needs of my growing business! So that’s exactly what I did at Walmart!
