Since we moved into our Florida home, I’ve wanted to create a cozy corner in our main bedroom. We moved in over a year ago and the day has finally come! I’m partnering with Joss & Main to showcase a few of their Winter Edit pieces and I’m so happy with the way this bedroom nook turned out! Keep reading for more inspiration and tips to create your own cozy nook.
TIPS TO CREATING A COZY NOOK //
First, you want to start off with a chair in a size that best fits your space. For our space, I wanted something that was both functional, comfortable, and the size of a standard dining chair. The Flenderson solid wood chair fit he bill perfectly (plus it could always be used for an office chair)! If you have a larger space you could use an oversized chair like this swivel chair and also add an ottoman to kick up your feet! I also love this green velvet chair from the Winter Edit.
Next, you’ll want to add functional accent pieces like an accent table or a lamp depending on how you plan on using the space. I love the Ballantine pedestal table’s sleek design and it fits this small nook perfectly. If you have more room, you could opt for a larger accent table or this drink table for a smaller space.
Lastly, you’ll want to add decorative pieces. Artwork is always a great way to add color and interest in a space. I loved this black and white piece and this piece with fall tones.

It’s that time of year- back to school! I’ll be honest, I get a little sad and nostalgic when it comes to BTS. Another school year means our kids are growing older but it also makes me think of those first day of school jitters and excitement. What it also makes me think of is all of the back to school supplies! I LOVED shopping for school supplies and checking off my list. Filling my desk or locker with all of the goodies- it was so fun! This year I thought- why have I stopped doing this for myself?! I don’t need a whole list of items but it’s a great time to stock up on some home office essentials and re-organize my space to meet the needs of my growing business! So that’s exactly what I did at Walmart!
