The official start of spring is less than a month away! It's still cold in Nashville, but dressing in a spring color palette makes it seem a little bit warmer. Dress it up, dress it down, it's the perfect wardrobe essential...the little blue dress! This particular piece is one of my favorite closet staples. I purchased this cobalt frock a couple of years ago for the Kentucky Derby and have worn it countless times since then. For cold weather, it pairs nicely with a tweed draped cardigan, over-the-knee boots, and my beloved vintage necklace. In the summer, I like to wear it with strappy sandals and my hair up in a top-knot. What would you wear with your LBD?
Did you know that Memorial Day weekend is in 94 days? That means bikini season will be here before you know it. Even though you might be snowed in right now, it's time to get motivated! This will be my fourth week doing Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide, and I'm absolutely loving the workouts so far. The resistance workouts are tough, but in just three weeks I have noticed a big difference in muscle tone. If having three more months until the pool opens isn't motivating you to get to the gym, then maybe some cute workout clothes will do the trick. I wore this skirt at our wedding reception, so it goes without saying why it is the perfect piece to wear on a day that celebrates love. This week my mom and sister-in-law started a new workout created by Kayla Itsines. Even though we don't live in the same city, I couldn't be happier that we are all starting it at the same time.
