Happy Monday, loves! Today I'm sharing an outfit I wore this past weekend on date night. I'm really into soft color palettes this winter and I wanted to give you a few tips on how to pull a neutral look off!
1. Pick a few colors that work well together:
This is fairly easy when going for an all neutral ensemble. For my look, I wore all gray underneath and accented with nude/camel and touch of pale pink. Some other colors you could try are light blue, lavender, or mint green!
2. Pick a Nude Shoe or Boot:
Nude footwear is the best way to pull your look together. You don't want to wear something too dark because you want to keep the color palette light.
3. Accent with a Bold Lip:
When wearing an ensemble like this, a bold red or pink lip will really stand out and take your look to the next level! I absolutely love this NARS lip pencil in Cruella.
I hope you enjoyed today's style tips! I'll be sharing the second part of this look tomorrow, so stay tuned!
WINTER WHITE

Today I'm sharing ways to wear white this winter with items you already have in your closet! Winter white can be intimidating, but not with these simple style tips.
1. Same Color Top & Shoes
Just like I did for this outfit, pair your white denim with a top and shoes that are the same color. The colors don't have to match exactly, but this is an easy way to pull your look together and look polished!
2. Neutral Tones
Soft neutral tones work perfectly with white jeans and can brighten up your winter wardrobe too! Think blush pinks, taupe, nude, and khaki. I just scored this cozy pink sweater that I plan on wearing with my white jeans and taupe suede booties!
3. All White
This may sound crazy, but when it's done right it's so pretty! The key is to mix items with different textures and go with a neutral shoe or boot. Below is an example of an outfit I wore for Thanksgiving in Kentucky!
What do you think of today's style tips?! I'd love to hear from you in the comments below! Thank you so for stopping by!

First things first, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE'S EVE! Can you believe that the big day is almost here?! Me either, and that's why I wanted to share one of my favorite shoots from this year with you!
These photos are from when I was in Kentucky a couple of weeks ago, and my mom and I had SO MUCH FUN frolicking around the Christmas tree lot. My lovely little sister made a bunch of paper snowflakes and what better way to have a white Christmas if there isn't any snow in the forecast?!
I've professed my love for army green jackets before here, and when I found this hooded Calvin Klein number, I knew it had to be in my wardrobe. The genuine leather trim adds a chic touch and the hood is perfect for those extra cold nights. I'm also a sucker for anything in UK blue and was so excited when I found this infinity scarf and pom pom beanie at American Eagle! I'm sure these accessories will be in heavy rotation for our first winter in Seattle.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you and yours a ver Merry Christmas!
10 THINGS

Mr. Jones and I took a day trip down to Tacoma to check out one of 'America's Best Hot Dog Restaurants' and take a look around the city. The Red Hot didn't disappoint and also had an amazing beer selection. I would definitely recommend making a trip if you're ever in the Tacoma area!
On our way down, a friend suggested we check out the school where the movie '10 Things I Hate About You' was filmed. Our visit was short lived due to the rain, but Stadium High School is absolutely beautiful. It was really cool to see it in person and I felt like a cool kid who was skipping class even though it was on a Saturday!
It's funny because this outfit is totally a more sophisticated version of something I would've worn in high school. As a matter of fact, I had a brown leather moto jacket from American Eagle back in the day and rocked that baby every fall for years. This wine colored version is not only super cool, but it also comes with a snap off faux fur collar for when you're feeling a little more fancy. These ripped Joe's Jeans might not adhere to the dress code, but that won't stop me from wearing them!
What were your favorite outfits or pieces that you wore over and over again in high school?!
MOTO JACKETS UNDER $200
BELTED

I've already talked about how much I love this dress in this post here, but can we talk about how adorable it looks with an anorak over it?! I will admit, I probably wear this jacket too often, but that goes to show you how versatile an anorak can be. I've linked a similar one above that I'm currently trying to talk myself out of buying. Originally, I belted both pieces with a black belt, but I loved the pop of color that the red one added. Belting a jacket over a dress not only defines the waist, but it can pull your look together instantly. It's a win, win!
April 28

Today is my birthday! Thank you, Mom for bringing me into this big beautiful world. This is the first time in years that my birthday has been during Derby week and I couldn't be more excited! Mint Juleps and Derby Pie, anyone?
April Showers

Spring weather can be so unpredictable, so I'm always on the lookout for a good trench coat. This ruffled Jessica Simpson number immediately caught my eye and was perfect for a windy day at the races. The temperature was lower than expected so I paired my new MINKPINK dress with skinny jeans. After Keeneland, my mom and I did some exploring in downtown Lexington. How amazing is this Abraham Lincoln mural painted by Eduardo Kobra?!
Waiting on Spring

The official start of spring is less than a month away! It's still cold in Nashville, but dressing in a spring color palette makes it seem a little bit warmer. This lovely mint green jacket is sold out, but I've linked a lighter weight version that you can wear all summer long. Have a fabulous weekend, everyone!
