It's that time of year again when a lot of us start going back to the gym, drinking smoothies, and become more healthy people! If you're anything like me, you might have over indulged a bit over the holidays and aren't feeling too great about yourself. That's when tunic sweaters like this come to the rescue. Not only are they super comfortable, but they also cover up more than usual and that's just what I need for a few weeks while I bust my booty at the gym!
This tunic sweater in particular is amazing because it's made of soft jersey material and feels like wearing a t-shirt. Pair it with some stretchy skinny jeans, and you're all set to feel great while accomplishing whatever health goals you may have for 2016!
Speaking of fitness goals in the new year, I wanted to share a few tunes with you that really amp up my sweat sessions. Yesterday I cycled for an hour and despite feeling like I might pass out, these songs really kept me going. I've added them all to one Pandora station, and it's great for long cardio sessions that can get really boring! If you're more inspired by cute gear for the gym, check out my Pinterest page for fashionable workout apparel, healthy recipes, etc.!
If you have any music recommendations for me, I would love for you to leave them in the comments below. Have a great day!

First things first, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE'S EVE! Can you believe that the big day is almost here?! Me either, and that's why I wanted to share one of my favorite shoots from this year with you!
These photos are from when I was in Kentucky a couple of weeks ago, and my mom and I had SO MUCH FUN frolicking around the Christmas tree lot. My lovely little sister made a bunch of paper snowflakes and what better way to have a white Christmas if there isn't any snow in the forecast?!
I've professed my love for army green jackets before here, and when I found this hooded Calvin Klein number, I knew it had to be in my wardrobe. The genuine leather trim adds a chic touch and the hood is perfect for those extra cold nights. I'm also a sucker for anything in UK blue and was so excited when I found this infinity scarf and pom pom beanie at American Eagle! I'm sure these accessories will be in heavy rotation for our first winter in Seattle.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you and yours a ver Merry Christmas!
TURKEY DAY ATTIRE- PART 1

This year has flown by and I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Since it's getting so close to Turkey Day, I decided to put together some looks that are cute, cozy, and suitable for overeating! This comfy cardigan is super soft and I love the Aztec pattern (and it's on sale)! I paired it with my favorite flowy tank from Free People and stretchy skinny jeans. Comfortable layers are perfect for when you're feeling a little stuffed and ready for a nap because let's face it, a little snooze will likely occur after eating all of that turkey (and pecan pie)!
Next I need to figure out what I'm cooking, any suggestions?!

Fall is finally here and I've put my summer wardrobe away and brought out all of my autumn favorites. Trends change daily, but one thing that remains consistent in my wardrobe is army green jackets. I just cannot have enough! They're always my go-to because they go with EVERYTHING! My mom got me this J.Crew blazer for Christmas 3 years ago and it's one of my favorite jackets ever. It's beyond comfortable, but I feel put together...that's a winning combination if you ask me! I found a jacket that is almost identical and trust me, you will want to wear it all of the time!
What are your fall wardrobe favorites?!

Lace-up tops and dresses are everywhere this season and I love this Topshop number from Nordstrom. It is lined behind the laces so it's a little more conservative than some options out there, but this allows it to be more versatile. This dress can easily be taken from day to night, too! For the office, you could pair it with tights, booties, and a top-knot. For night (or weekends), you can pair it with some over-the-knee boots like these and a fun hat!
I also love getting more wears out of a dress by putting a skirt over it and making it look like a top! A suede skirt like the one from this post would be perfect! When wearing a skirt over a dress, I usually go with something A-line so the dress doesn't bunch up underneath. When you look at your closet with this in mind, it always seems like there are so many more options! You can never have enough options, right?!
