I LOVE decorating for the holidays, but since we've lived in fairly small apartments the past few years I didn't have the chance. Since we bought a house of our own, I can finally get back to business and be festive! Today I'm sharing our chic fall/Halloween patio decor with you just in time for the coziest season of all!
Since the inside of our house is mostly black, white, and gray, I wanted to continue that theme outside. There's something so classic and chic about black and white, don't you think? Halloween decor in particular can quickly become corny (no pun intended- HA!) so I wanted to keep it classic with items I can use year after year.
For outdoor decor, I headed straight to Joss & Main because they have the best variety of items and great prices. The first thing I picked out was this amazing black and off white plaid outdoor rug. It's a square and fits perfectly on our odd-shaped deck (they have so many sizes too)! I wanted some faux pumpkins and LOVE these wooden ones since they light up and can be used for a Thanksgiving table as well.
Since it doesn't really rain here in sunny California, I decided to add this stripe cheese board. I love the mix of patterns and I can use this indoors year round! To add even more patterns, I picked up these watercolored bat pillows. They are SO CUTE and festive, but not over the top!
Last but not least, I found these FABULOUS lanterns! I love that they came in 3 different sizes and they too are very versatile since you can put different decorative objects in them for various holidays. I plan on putting vintage ornaments in them for Christmas- so fun!
Are you decorating for Halloween or fall this year? If so, I hope this gave you all of the inspiration you needed! Stay tuned as I'll be posting a super cute Halloween wreath DIY this week! Thank y'all so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Xo,
Haley
