This year I scheduled our family photos for Christmas while we were in Kentucky. Unfortunately Skyler wasn’t able to come at the last minute, but we went ahead and had photos taken anyway. Fall is so beautiful in Kentucky! My sister and her sweet family split the session with us and somehow we both ended up wearing black and tan outfits- ha! The photos are absolutely amazing and I wanted to share them with you in case your needing outfit ideas for your Christmas card photos!

I hope y’all love these photos as much as I do! The black and tan outfits for family photos look so pretty in photos, don’t you think? I loved seeing Jett in all black with his little Ugg boots. It was just too cute. His cousin Quincy is wearing Jett’s sweater onesie from last year and his baby Ugg boots from last year too! How cute?! Jett is obsessed with him and we have to FaceTime him on a weekly basis-ha!
For everyone’s suede boots we used this suede protector I found on Amazon! I sprayed each pair twice and I couldn’t believe how well Jett’s Ugg boots held up after he wore them every day in Kentucky (even to the pumpkin patch and a dirt playground)! I would highly recommend it for all of your suede boots!
We took these photos at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate in Lexington, Kentucky! If you want to take photographs in the garden, make sure you schedule an appointment. Chloe of Love Chloe Lane Photography took these photos and I absolutely LOVE her! She took our family photos back in the summer and she is SO GOOD with kids. If you are looking for a central Kentucky family photographer or wedding photographer- she’s your gal! She was actually the second shooter at my wedding so I’ve known her for quite some time now!
