Mr. Jones and I had decided earlier this summer that next summer would be a good time to start trying to have a baby. Well, it turns out things happened a little sooner than expected, but we couldn't be more excited! Since a lot of you voted "yes" on Instagram stories to hearing about how I shared the news with my husband and our families shortly after, today I'm spilling all of the details!
When I found out I was pregnant this fall, Skyler was actually out of town. I took 3 different tests because like I said earlier- we weren't expecting it to happen! I had to wait for 2 very long days until he got back and while I waited, I decided to make a little gift for him to surprise him at the airport. Waiting for him to walk out of the airport felt like it took HOURS! It was a few days before our anniversary in October, so I told him I had an early anniversary gift for him. When he opened up the little box I made and saw all of the positive tests, he said "You're pregnant?!" with the biggest smile on his face. It was a moment I'll never forget!
Since we hang out with our family here in Cali every weekend and usually drink some wine, I knew they would think something was up when I decided not to have a glass. So I decided to tell everyone that weekend (including my family via FaceTime). Skyler works in the wine industry, so we usually bring the wine over on Friday night so it was the perfect way to surprise our family! I was short on time so, I decided to create a wine label of my own and just use double stick tape to adhere it. I loved this label I found on Etsy, but like I said didn't have time to order it. So I used it as inspiration for our own and the surprise was epic! There are so many labels to choose from, I'll link a few of my favorites below if you're interested (and congratulations)!

I know I can’t be the only mom out there who is horrible at printing photos. Jett is almost three and all I have are a bunch of polaroids scattered about. Even though I’m bad at printing photos, I found a simple way to keep select works of art that I think it pretty genius. I also started to keep some of said polaroids in it as well as Christmas cards, Santa photos, etc. I’m telling you all about it in today’s post!
