Last week I shared all of the outfits I wore on our trip to California, but today I wanted to share our weekend guide to Laguna Beach! There are so many amazing restaurants, beaches, and shops in Laguna, so today I'm giving you the scoop on all of the ones you can't miss!
On our first day, we stopped by Browne's Flowers because I've always wanted to go there. The one Mr. Jones and I went to was in Dana Point, but there is a very similar flower stand in Laguna Beach called Flowers by Sabour. It's in the parking lot of Ruby's Diner so you can go have a yummy meal afterwards!
THE BEST BEACHES
This time we went to Pearl Street Beach both days. It's easily accessible and absolutely gorgeous! You can also bring your pup to the beach until tourist season (June 15th- September 10th)! Dwayne had SO MUCH FUN running around, chewing on sticks, and napping in the sand. Our other favorite beaches are Table Rock Beach and Treasure Island.
On Saturday, our niece Kyle joined us at the beach. She loved my DIY Eugenia Kim hat so much she ended up wearing it most of the day. Seriously though, how cute is she in this Headbands of Hope flower crown?! Skyler wouldn't put her down, so his twin brother, Zach had to hold the dog-ha!
WHERE TO EAT
CARMELITA'S: Delicious Mexican cuisine in Downtown Laguna. I got the Pollo A La Chipotle and it was SO GOOD!
CRAFT HOUSE: The grilled meatload is TO DIE FOR, y'all!
THE ROYAL HAWAIIAN: I love a place with history and the Royal Hawaiian has been in Laguna since 1947! It reopened last summer and the decor is fantastic, the drinks are amazing, and it was so much fun!
ELLIE'S TABLE: This is one of my favorite places in Southern California for a quick and delicious bite! We went to Ellie's in San Clemente last year, but this time we went to the location in San Juan Capistrano and it's just the cutest! We sat on the patio and walked around the Historic District which is so beautiful and while it was closed, I can't wait to go back and visit the Old Barn Antique Mall!
THE ROOFTOP: Our favorite place for a drink as the sun sets. The view is breathtaking and the Sangria is even better!
MOZAMBIQUE: If you're headed to Pearl Street Beach, this is a great place to have brunch before! The rooftop patio is so awesome and they have valet parking (they let us leave the car there the whole day too)!
MOULIN BISTRO: We stumbled on this delightful French bakery while we were strolling around downtown and it was so great. The food was amazing and they even had bottomless mimosas for $17! If you're in the mood for some shopping after a croissant, there are plenty to browse through in downtown Laguna. We love Hobie Surf Shop but there are many, many more!
After all of those activities, you might be too tired to go dancing but if not, you must go to the Marine Room! The bands are always amazing and you'll feel like a local!
I hope you enjoyed this recap of our trip! Watch more below and have a great day!
