There are a million things on every bride's to-do list, and the perfect "getting ready outfits" can be hard to find! That is why today I'm sharing some getting ready outfit inspo from my sister's recent wedding in Mexico, as well as a roundup of super cute and affordable pieces that will serve as great gifts for your bridesmaids too! When you find the right outfits to get ready for your wedding, you can check off not one but two items off of your to do list- woohoo!
If you want your bridesmaid's getting ready outfits to double as their gifts, you want to make sure it's something they will actually wear in the future. For this reason, I absolutely love casual pieces made from lightweight fabric that can easily double as a bathing suit cover-up. My sister actually borrowed my Free People voile trapeze dress that I wore while getting ready for my wedding and my sister-in-law gave them as gifts for their wedding last June. In my opinion, the FP voile trapeze dresses are the epitome of a whimsical getting ready outfit that you and your bridesmaids will certainly want to wear again!
If you decide to gift a lightweight dress like the ones in today's post to your bridesmaids, just make sure they bring the proper undergarments to wear! If it's sheer, lace bralettes are are great to wear underneath. I forgot mine for Karly's wedding, but luckily my mom had a cute strapless one that I borrowed (thanks mom)!
