I found this gray MINKPINK dress while on an impromptu shopping trip at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom. Not only is this dress extremely flattering, but it's also great for layering making it a perfect summer to fall transition piece. It also looks adorable with a flannel shirt tied at the waist or an anorak jacket!

Flower Friday was even better a few weeks ago when my hubby surprised me with these amazing floral print running shoes! We've been doing a lot of exploring in Seattle, so they were perfect to walk down to South Lake Union and look at all of the boats. We are loving Seattle so far, it's totally different than what we had expected and it's so beautiful!

Last weekend, my friend Mary was in town from Milwaukee (come back!). It was so fun to hang out downtown and explore the market's delightful flower vendors, fresh fish, and delicious fruit. We had lunch at The Pink Door on their cheerful patio overlooking Elliott Bay. The food was delicious and it's always so much fun to catch up with my college girlfriends!
Nashville might be known for country music and honky tonks, but there are also really great designers here! Doxahlogy is a unique line of jewelry handmade right here in Music City. Danica creates unique pieces using vintage finds and gorgeous natural stones that I just can't get enough of. Who doesn't love supporting local artists and small businesses? This outfit is essentially a list of my favorite items. I wear this jacket constantly because it's comfortable, flattering, and lightweight, making it perfect to wear on those chilly spring mornings. I found a very similar jacket that is SO PERFECT for summer! I want it oh-so-bad, but I realize having two of almost the same jacket is a little silly (or is it?)! The Einstein mural is in Lexington's distillery district and one of my favorite murals ever. The artist is a creative genius if you ask me!
