For years, a t-shirt and jean shorts was my standard uniform for Independence Day. This year, I'm taking a more sophisticated approach on July 4th and opting for a cute dress. Last weekend, my friend Mary was in town from Milwaukee (come back!). It was so fun to hang out downtown and explore the market's delightful flower vendors, fresh fish, and delicious fruit. We had lunch at The Pink Door on their cheerful patio overlooking Elliott Bay. The food was delicious and it's always so much fun to catch up with my college girlfriends!
