QUICK & EASY TRADER JOE'S MEAL // CHEESY MEATBALL BAKE

March 3, 2020 Haley Jones

It’s #traderjoestuesday and this week I want to share the recipe that Mr. Jones and I can’t get enough of! It’s SO EASY to make and you barely get the dishes dirty- my favorite for busy week nights! This meal takes less than 30 minutes to assemble and bake- it’s also easily altered depending on the ingredients you have on hand! Keep reading for the easy recipe.

Cheesy Meatball Bake

A quick and delicious dinner for your family!

Makes: 2-3 Servings

Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 25 mins

Ingredients:
  • Trader Joe's Frozen Meatballs (we use both Turkey and Italian)
  • 1 can of Trader Joe's Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
  • Trader Joe's Quattro Formaggio
  • Trader Joe's Fire Roasted Red Peppers
  • Trader Joe's Diced & Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven at 425 degrees.
  2. Chop 1/2 can of Trader Joe's Fire Roasted Red Peppers (you could also add onions)!
  3. Bake meatballs in the oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Add about 3/4 of the tomato sauce into the skillet.
  5. Add chopped re peppers and fire roasted tomatoes (drained) to skillet. Mix these all together.
  6. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce. I use 8 turkey (4 for my dinner, 4 for my lunch) and 4 or 5 Italian meatballs for Skyler since he doesn't like the turkey meatballs.
  7. Cover with 1/3 bag of Quattro Formaggio.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes.
