EASY-TO-ASSEMBLE BRUNCH CHEESE BOARD

June 24, 2019 Haley Jones

For Jett’s first birthday, I wanted the food to be simple but beautiful. That isn’t always easy, but when I saw some brunch cheese boards on Pinterest I got so inspired to try my own! One of my friends helped me put together a list of cheeses and fruits for the perfect brunch cheese board and I’m sharing that with you today! The best part about this brunch cheese board is that it doesn’t break the bank- whoohoo!

FRUITS:

  1. Blackberries

  2. Raspberries

  3. Large pack of strawberries. Cut these in halves.

  4. 1 Green apple. Slice into thin pieces.

  5. 1 Red apple. Slice into thin pieces.

  6. 2 oranges. Cut one in half, the other into quarters.

  7. 1 grapefruit. Cut in half.

  8. Blueberries ( I forgot to add these-whoops)!

CHEESES:

  1. Blueberry Vanilla Chevre from Trader Joe’s. This is the best cheese I have ever had IN MY LIFE! It also looks so pretty! Make sure you cut it into slices and it looks even better!

  2. Chevre With Honey. YUM!

  3. Gouda

  4. Cheddar Cheese. I got cheese sticks from Ralph’s and just cut them in half, but if you only want to do cheeses from Trader Joe’s then you can always buy a block of cheddar and just slice it!

As for arranging, I put the cheeses down first on the green leaves (you can also use hydrangea leaves!), and then filled in with the fruit. I had the crackers and the bread sliced on the counter next to the plates, but you could always add them in as well. The cheese board is from Pottery Barn and it’s such a great piece! The one here is the large size but they also sell a smaller medium sized one too!

I hope you enjoyed this post, make sure you check back to see all of the details of Jett’s First Birthday party!

Xo,

Haley
