Our California home had the cutest small space laundry room. It was efficient, had beautiful walnut shelves for some cute decor, and plenty of storage space. In today’s post I’m sharing all of the details including the links to everything at the bottom of the post!
The pull-out laundry hamper was probably my favorite feature of this laundry room. The liner was washable which made it perfect to throw all of our kitchen towels into. We try to use microfiber towels 90% of the time instead of using paper towels, so they fill up this hamper quickly! The pull out ironing board was a unique feature, but we didn’t use it often. My husband prefers a full size ironing board for his work clothes. The cabinet to the right of the washer and dryer had so much storage which was so nice! I loved the walnut floating shelves in this space, too. They warmed up the space and when decorated, it felt open and airy and not just a utilitarian “laundry room in the hallway.”
There were positives and negatives to having a compact laundry pair. We couldn’t do very large loads of laundry due to the size and the ventless dryer normally didn’t dry items in just one cycle. Overall, it fit the space perfectly and I wouldn’t have changed the design of the space.
The cabinetry and walnut shelving were all custom made. The polished chrome bar pulls looked really pretty with the light cabinetry as well. Below you can shop everything you see here!
