We are one month away from the big ONE! Can you even believe it because I certainly cannot. Jett is just getting funnier by the minute and he’s quite the hand full these days! Being a boy mom sure is wild sometimes, he is ALWAYS on the move. In today’s post I’m sharing all about his latest milestones, what he’s eating, his schedule, and more!

LIKES:
Jett LOVES the water! Next spring we will definitely put him in swim lessons because he just loves being in the pool so much. He likes to put his face in the water which is kind of funny but terrifying at the same time. He even does it in the bathtub if the tub is filled high enough.
DISLIKES:
He HATES to be changed now which is a STRUGGLE! He’s so strong it’s hard to even hold him down long enough to get his pajama pants on at night. At first he didn’t like just laying down on the changing table making diaper changes really hard, but now he doesn’t even like to sit on his changing pad. He used to sit so nicely and even put his arms up for me to put his shirts on and off. Now he THROWS himself backwards or forwards towards me and it’s terrifying. I usually have my hand holding one of his arms while I try to put his shirts on, but it’s scary! Hopefully he will stop doing this soon.
MILESTONES:
43 Weeks- signed for “more” when he was out of blueberries (his favorite). I had been trying to teach him this for months, and when he finally put his little fingers together, I almost lost it. The cutest thing ever!
44 Weeks- His Dad was changing him in his room and when I passed by he looked at me and said “MAMAMA!” He’s been saying mama and dada for awhile now, but knowing in that moment that he knew what he was saying was SO SPECIAL. It plays over and over in my mind like a little home video and I hope I never forget that moment. It makes me cry just thinking about it!
45 Weeks- waved “hi!” Since then he hasn’t done it again- bummer!
46 Weeks- stopped nursing. He had a double ear infection and that was the nail in the coffin.
46 Weeks- Gets really mad when we tell him no.
47 Weeks- Learning to share at daycare.
47 Weeks- Likes to throw himself backwards when sitting on the changing table.
FEED:
Unfortunately Jett is no longer breastfeeding. It honestly took me a couple of weeks to come to grips with it and accept that he was done. It was a lot harder emotionally than I ever thought it would be. I’ll dive deeper in a post about breastfeeding when I can. After that, he was on formula only since we don’t have any frozen breast milk left.
SLEEP:
Jett is still sleeping through the night- hooray! When he had a double ear infection there were a couple of rough nights but other than that he hasn’t been waking up at night at all which is amazing. He still sleeps in a sleep sack and has 3 Wubbanubs in his crib.
I’m sure I forgot something, but I think that just about covers it! Below, I’ll link up everything from the photos and some toys he loves playing with!

Haley
