It’s true what they say, mom life is the best life. However, that doesn’t mean it’s easy! I wanted to share the items in today’s post with you because these truly make mom life easier and I’m so thankful that we have them at home! I love each one of these items so much and would highly recommend them. Keep reading to see them all!
1. NEST CAM
We have used the Nest cam as Jett’s nursery monitor since the beginning and we LOVE it! I love that we can access it from any device in our house including the Amazon Echo Show. We’ve never had any issues with it although it has disconnected a few times, it typically reconnects within minutes. I plug my iPhone in at night and use it as my monitor and Skyler uses his iPad as the monitor when I leave for the gym in the morning. I love that I can see his room from anywhere! I would secretly spy on Skyler getting him dressed in the morning for the first month I went back to work because I missed Jett so much- ha!
2. SCHLAGE TOUCHSCREEN DEADBOLT LOCK
We got this for Christmas and it is a total game changer! When you’re carrying your baby, 2 bags of groceries, and a diaper bag it’s pretty difficult to get out your keys and open the door. Not with this key-less door lock! I cannot tell you how many arguments this has solved- ha! My husband would come home late from work trips or after a night out and never have his keys. One night I was in such a deep sleep I didn’t hear my phone ring or him ringing the doorbell and he had to climb up onto our back deck- sorry babe! Luckily now he can just punch in our code and he doesn’t have to wake me up! Mom win!
The echo show is a household must-have! I actually want another for our kitchen because we currently keep ours in the bathroom so we can listen to music when we’re showering and getting ready. It also can show us the Nest cam in Jett’s room and the Panasonic Home Hawk front door monitor. I love how you can scroll through Amazon music playlists and the speaker quality is amazing. We have the 1st generation but I’m sure the 2nd generation is even better!
I use this almost every day to find my keys- ha! I’m always putting my keys in obscure places on accident and let me tell you this little key chain has saved me from being late for work so many times! All you have to do is connect the key chain via the Tile app and when you can’t find your keys you “ring” the tile from the app on your phone. You can also ring your phone from the Tile app! It’s genius and very necessary for a busy mom! I just used it this morning and they last a little over a year.
This vacuum has CHANGED MY LIFE! If you own a dog that sheds, you are missing out if you don’t have a robot vacuum. Our house is 1,000 times cleaner with this vacuum especially in the summer months when we keep our doors and windows open. We don’t use our AC a lot and live really close to the beach so a lot of dust tends to settle inside. Having this vacuum that automatically runs every day is a complete game changer for us and totally worth the price tag!

I know I can’t be the only mom out there who is horrible at printing photos. Jett is almost three and all I have are a bunch of polaroids scattered about. Even though I’m bad at printing photos, I found a simple way to keep select works of art that I think it pretty genius. I also started to keep some of said polaroids in it as well as Christmas cards, Santa photos, etc. I’m telling you all about it in today’s post!
