Rocking trendy pieces at the office can be tough especially if your workplace requires business casual attire. This season however, there are several trends you can mix into your work wardrobe. THE BOW BLOUSE
I confessed my love for bow blouses long ago (see here & here), but they're finally showing up on my favorite shopping sites- hooray! The best part about these blouses is that they can be styled so many ways. You can wear the blouse on its own and have 3 ways to tie it. The first way is just looped once like in today's post. Another way is to tie it in a nice bow- just make sure it's low enough and not too close to your neck for a more relaxed look. The third way is to just let the ties hang down- easy! There are also endless layering options for a bow blouse and my favorite is under a chic dress!
SUEDE SKIRTS
This is one of the trends that could be tough to style for the office- but not with the adorable skirt in today's post! This LC Lauren Conrad piece is faux suede and the length is great because unlike a lot of the a-line suede skirts out there, it isn't too short! The scallop hem is also just too cute for words!
LACE-UP FOOTWEAR
Some may think lace-up anything at the office is a no-no, but it's all in the way you style it! The key to rocking lace-up pumps like these beautiful Sam Edelman babies is how you tie them. When wrapping the laces around the ankle, don't space them out too much because the lace will come up too high on the leg, quickly becoming inappropriate for the office. If you're still not sold on lace-up pumps, try lace-up flats like my favorite ghillie flats from Nordstrom!
