In the winter months it can be easy to slip into a colorless outfit rut. If you own predominately neutral or black coats and sweaters like I do, there is one color combo that you must try- olive and pink! Pairing these two hues together will spice up your every day outfit routine and you might find yourself wearing it over and over again (I have)!

HOW I STYLED IT:
Olive green has been a wardrobe staple for me for years, but since we moved to Seattle I've been craving color in the gray months! I added this pink sweater from Chicwish to my wardrobe because I love sweaters that aren't your average crew neck- aren't the ruffles adorable?! Having a few sweaters that can be the exclamation point of your outfit make winter dressing way more fun and they're that much easier to dress up for holidays with a statement necklace.
The length of the ruffle sweater isn't long, and it goes great with skirts or high waisted jeans. Since I wanted to try this new color combo too, I paired it with an olive green skirt and my favorite Steve Madden over the knee boots. I love how olive green can act as a neutral in almost any season, but it adds that extra something chic to your outfit!
MORE WAYS TO STYLE OLIVE AND PINK
Brighter shades of pink also look amazing with olive green. How chic does Ashley from Curls and Cashmere look in her olive green trench and hot pink sweater?!
Olive (or hunter) green are also the perfect pop of color against a pink floral dress like the one Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific is wearing!
So tell me, what are your favorite out-of-the-box color combinations for winter?! I'd love to hear from you in the comments!
Thank y'all so much for stopping by and have the best day!
Xo,
Haley
