These paloma jello shots are delicous but also so pretty! They’re easy to make and are perfect for a summer party. The recipe card is at the bottom of this page, make sure you save it to your Pinterest!
Ingredients:
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
1 cup grapefruit juice
2 packets gelatin (.5 ounces total)
1 cup silver tequila
Lime
Himalayan sea salt
Tajin
edible glitter stars
Preparation:
Prepare molds.(I used scooped out grapefruits.)
In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water and grapefruit juice. Sprinkle gelatin over top and allow to rest for 5 minutes until gelatin is softened and the liquid’s surface appears slightly wrinkled.
Turn heat on to medium. Stir mixture until sugar dissolves and gelatin is smooth. Do not boil. Remove from heat. Stir in tequila. Distribute the liquid evenly among the molds. Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours.
After the jello has set, cut the grapefruit into slices with a pearing knife.
Before serving, mix Himalayan sea salt, tajin, and edible glitter stars. Squeeze fresh lime onto Jell-O shots and sprinkle spice mix to garnish.
