Party season is upon us, but you don't always need to buy a new dress or outfit! I've had this cute little BCBG number for awhile and have worn it before, but it looks completely different when paired with my white bow blouse. Re-wearing a dress isn't always exciting, but the bow blouse completely changes the look and the dress doesn't even look the same. One other way you can re-wear your holiday frock from last year is to wear it under a full skirt! I've done this a lot with my sequin dresses from last year's NYE and it's the best way to update your look but not spend too much money. This leather midi skirt would also be a fabulous choice and is on sale!

I've worn my other suede skirt too many times to count, and this cobalt blue one fits into my skirt collection quite nicely! These polka dot tights are always a go-to winter staple of mine and are the perfect pop of print when wearing a solid skirt or dress. Black tights can get kind of boring during a long winter and these will perk up your wardrobe instantly!

Happy Thursday, everyone! Mr. Jones and I still have a few gifts to buy, but I wanted to share our holiday gift wrap and some more holiday decor with you! For the past couple of years, I have used brown packing paper to wrap our gifts and this year I wanted to try something different. I found the ivory and gold wrapping paper at HomeGoods and stumbled upon the black kraft paper at Michaels. To tie everything together, I bought red and green velvet ribbon at HomeGoods, chalkboard ribbon at Hobby Lobby, and chalkboard gift tags at Target. I absolutely loved the way our gift wrap turned out this year, I hope you do too!
Christmas is so soon, but it isn't too late to mix up some adorably delicious holiday cocktails! I created two cocktails that are easy to make and don't require many ingredients. I love a good craft cocktail, but I'll leave that to the real professionals at my favorite restaurants. I hope you enjoy them as much as Mr. Jones and I did!
MRS-tletoe:
For Cranberry Ice Cubes: Add 3-4 cranberries per ice cube, fill with water, freeze.
For Red Sugar Rim: Pour sugar out onto a plate. With a lime, lemon, or orange, coat the top of the mason jar with juice. Press the rim of the glass onto the sugar to rim the edge.
Pour 1.5 oz. Vodka over cranberry ice cubes.
Fill the rest of the glass with Sprite zero.
Add a splash of cranberry juice.
Santas Little Helper:
Ginger Ale Ice Cubes: Fill ice cube tray with ginger ale and freeze. Our favorite ginger ale is Ale-8-One!

Fill glass with ginger ale ice cubes (4-5 cubes max).
Pour bourbon over ice. Mr. Jones prefers Four Roses Bourbon.

Every year, I get my tinsel all in a tangle trying to find the perfect party dress. This year, my Christmas wish was granted when I found the most beautiful mistletoe green maxi skirt. To keep my look merry and bright, I paired it with my favorite MAC lipstick, a long sleeve crop top, and some spunky leopard pumps. Bring on the martinis and mistletoe!
