It’s been a year and a half since I registered (wow that flew by) and now there’s an even better way to register for your baby shower and it’s on Walmart.com! Walmart has everything you’ll need and more including premium baby brands. It’s also so easy to register and they have helpful list(s) curated for you to help you along the way. Since having your first baby is pretty overwhelming, I wanted to put together an updated list of newborn must-haves to help you out! Keep reading and add them all to your Walmart registry!

When you first register on Walmart’s webiste, Hoo The Owl asks you a few important questions and from there, you can start to fill out your registry. It’s super simple and even automatically adds some essential items that you can later swap out or delete to create the perfect registry for your baby!
The HALO bassinet is recommended by so many moms and is what we would use if we ever have another baby! They are safe and great for moms who have C-sections because of how easy it is to get the baby in/out.
The Ergobaby carrier is something we cannot live without! We use it every weekend at the beach in the summer since Laguna Beaches have SO MANY STEPS- ha! I also use this every time I fly so I can be hands free for boarding.
We LOVE our Nest cam! It is seriously so great. I love that I can see Jett even when i’m not at home. Sometimes I check in on him while I’m at the gym in the morning even though Skyler is home. I also watched Skyler get Jett ready for school for the first 3 months that I went back to work- ha!
These triple layer burp cloths are a MUST! I used them all of the time every single day when Jett was a baby. They are so absorbent and the perfect size.
This Munchkin diaper pail is the best! I have a lot of nieces and nephews so I feel like that makes me an expert in this field, so trust me! This one is GOOD! The step feature is so perfect since after they can roll over you only have one hand to throw away the diaper!
A wipes dispenser is amazing because you can buy bulk wipes to save money! I love ours and it keeps the wipes moist. This is my go-to gift to buy expecting moms because I love it that much!
These Swaddleme swaddles are great for new moms! They velcro so they’re super easy to use. I brought 2 to the hospital and they were great! I handed these down to one of my sweet nephews and I get to see photos of him in them all of the time which is the best!
We used this Boon Soak bathtub until just about a month ago! It fits into the sink perfectly making bath time so simple! I was really sad when Jett grew out of this- I have so many good memories of our nightly routine using this item!

I know I can’t be the only mom out there who is horrible at printing photos. Jett is almost three and all I have are a bunch of polaroids scattered about. Even though I’m bad at printing photos, I found a simple way to keep select works of art that I think it pretty genius. I also started to keep some of said polaroids in it as well as Christmas cards, Santa photos, etc. I’m telling you all about it in today’s post!
