Off the shoulder tops were everywhere this summer and aren't going anywhere this fall- hooray! These shoulder-baring tops are perfect for early fall too, especially if you're still waiting on cooler weather to arrive! It's a lot easier than you might think to style this trend for fall, and today I'm showing you one way to style an OTS top and giving you some more ideas to rock this trend all season long!
ITS ALL ABOUT THE VEST
For today's look, I paired my simple long sleeve off the shoulder top with a chic (but super comfy!) vest. Adding a layer will add some interest to any simple top and elevate your casual weekend outfit! Layering these two pieces together also creates a cold shoulder silhouette which is also very big this fall- it's a #winwin!
MIX MUTED COLORS
If you're new to the OTS trend, the best way to get your feet wet is with simple silhouettes and a soft color palette. Case in point- today's tan, white, and denim ensemble! Lighter denim like these Blank NYC jeans work perfectly with neutral colors and also mix nicely with some of fall's other popular colors like rose pink!

With a bold lip! Today I'm wearing "Ruby Woo" by MAC (my personal favorite), but also adore a daring plum shade! A bold lip will add a dose of glam to your casual look and add the perfect pop of color!
