Our home office is coming along and Mr. Jones finally picked out a desk! While we have several pieces of furniture in the room, we still have a ways to go. It’s definitely far from complete, but I love sharing the progress with you! One of my plans for the space is to create a black accent wall and I’m sharing the details in today’s post!

To convince Mr. Jones that an accent wall would be perfect for the office space, I had to do a little bit of Photoshop work to show him what it would look like. I think he’s convinced, so definitely stay tuned on my Instagram stories for the progress! The first option includes a budget furniture piece from Target and I would have to paint it. My friend Kim from Eat, Sleep, Wear has the smaller cabinet in her home and painted it white and it’s absolutely gorgeous!
After painting the Minsmere TV Stand, I want to change up the hardware to elevate the piece. I love these black and gold drawer pulls from CB2 and think they will look amazing! The other option is getting the Fullerton credenza that matches our Fullerton desk, but the fit would be a tight squeeze and the price is a lot higher than the first option.
