In our new home we don’t have a fireplace, so the next best option is to decorate our built in bar for Christmas! I had to do this last year as well since we didn’t have a fireplace in our California home either. I wanted to create a similar little village with fairy lights like last year, but with a more modern twist. I LOVE how it turned out! I used a lot of items that I had from years past and added in a few new things. Everything seen here is linked at the bottom of the post and I’m reviewing our Avallon wine fridge/beverage center as well!

The Avallon wine refrigerator has been amazing so far! There are so many options out there and the reason why we chose this one is because we could tailor it to our needs. This model has so many options! It comes in stainless steel or black, single or dual temperature zones, and left or right swing. Dual zones was important to Mr. Jones and was one of the main factors in narrowing down our search. We had to have a 24” unit and my requirements were that it was aesthetically pleasing and had a simple door pull with clean lines. We actually had to use this as our main refrigerator as ours was delayed for months due to COVID, so the storage capacity is great for items other than wine too- ha! Now that we have our main refrigerator we can finally stock this baby full of wine to enjoy over the holidays and I’m so excited!
Overall I would highly recommend this unit. I personally would’ve liked the single zone option better because the bottom only goes down to 54 degrees. We are mostly white wine and champagne drinkers, so the top gets full very quickly. Definitely something to keep in mind when deciding on dual or single climate. The pull outs are also stationary so if you have larger bottles they might not fit. Other than that, we love this unit!
