My due date is just 11 days away and I'm getting so excited to meet our baby boy! I'm also super excited to start using all of the gifts and gadgets we've had sitting in the nursery. The anticipation of it all is killing me! Instead of sitting in the nursery staring at these items and wondering when I'll finally be able to use them, I thought I'd share the ones I'm most excited about with you!
DockATot DELUXE
Ever since I saw the DockATot in action with 2 of my nephews (aged 5 months and 16 months at the time) I knew I had to have it! It has so many uses (naps, co-sleeping, tummy time) so even though it's a pricier item, it's definitely worth it! It also has the cutest covers to choose from and they are easily washable. I got the classic white and the more trendy marble pattern! We also got the toy arch and accessories so our babe can be easily entertained if momma has a load of laundry to fold or something like that! Dwayne instantly thought he had a new bed, so maybe we should get another- HA!
THE OLLIE SWADDLE
I got a few swaddles at my shower and my sister sent me one of every variety that she used with my nephew. I have to admit, the Ollie Swaddle is definitely the least intimidating of all of the swaddles and seems SO EASY to use! It's also SO soft and comes in the cutest box so it would be the perfect gift too!
LALABU SOOTHE SHIRT
I have seen this on Instagram a few times and new moms seem to love it! It's a nursing friendly top and a baby carrier in one- so smart! I love that it's so easy and you don't have to have a baby carrier on top of a shirt. Some of the carriers out there seem so complicated (like a thousand mile long piece of fabric to wrap around you- no thanks!) or just very bulky, and this one isn't either of those things. I can't wait to carry this little peanut around in the Lalabu shirt and I just saw they even make one for dad!
THE PLAY GYM BY LOVEVERY
Let's be honest, a lot of essential baby products are SO UGLY- play gyms in particular. Not this one! The thing I love most about this play gym by Lovevery is that it is BEAUTIFUL, it's not overwhelming, and it can be converted into a little teepee when the baby gets a little bit bigger! I LOVE that you can use it beyond just 6 months and the mat is also washable!
SILVERETTE NURSING CUPS
I plan on breastfeeding and have heard that these nursing cups are a game changer! I love that you can reuse them AND you can even send them back after you're done breastfeeding and have them made into a charm for a necklace! Not only is this amazing, but how special is that too?!

I know I can’t be the only mom out there who is horrible at printing photos. Jett is almost three and all I have are a bunch of polaroids scattered about. Even though I’m bad at printing photos, I found a simple way to keep select works of art that I think it pretty genius. I also started to keep some of said polaroids in it as well as Christmas cards, Santa photos, etc. I’m telling you all about it in today’s post!
