Wearing a crop top in the winter might sound crazy but when you find the right one, it's totally possible! The key to rocking a crop top in cold weather is layering. Here are some more style tips so you too can pull this look off!
1. FIND A CROP TOP THAT'S MADE OF HEAVIER FABRIC
It's still cold outside, so a heavier fabric or knit will keep you warm and look cute with a shirt layered underneath. This cropped sweater is similar to the one I'm wearing, has an adorable lace-up back, AND would be the perfect transition piece come spring time!
2. LAYER IT OVER A LIGHTWEIGHT, LONG-SLEEVE TOP
Since you're wearing a warm knit on top, a lighter fabric underneath will create a polished layered look. A lightweight long sleeve top like this bow blouse will drape nicely and keep you on-trend when tied to mimic a skinny scarf.
3. FINISH YOUR LOOK WITH TAILORED BOTTOMS
Balance your layers up top with a slim pant, jean, or pencil skirt. These jeans are always on heavy rotation and I found a very similar version for less than $75, #score!
