Happy Monday, beautiful people! Today I wanted to show you how to solve your "nothing to wear" dilemma AND snuggle up with your sweetie's wardrobe just in time for Valentine's Day. In this post I'm wearing Mr. Jones' J.Crew oxford (easing into his watch collection) and despite his warning, I might be wearing this more often. It is SO comfy and there is just something about wearing your man's clothes that makes you feel good, am I right?! So, here are some style tips to pull off a chic #ootd wearing your husband (or boyfriend's) white shirt.
1. PAIR IT WITH SKINNY JEANS OR LEGGINGS
You can offset the relaxed fit of your bae's top with a pair of fitted bottoms. Think of it as wearing a tunic with leggings, it's just as comfortable AND stylish!
2. ADD A POP OF COLOR
Adding a pop of color like red adds a feminine touch to your ensemble. You can even throw in another color by wearing a jacket, but make sure it has a shape-flattering silhouette like my favorite cinched-waist utility jacket. I have had this jacket for as long as I can remember and I finally found a similar version that comes in regular and petite sizes! Woohoo!
3. POLISH IT OFF WITH THE PERFECT POUT
A bold red lip will counter the casualness of your look and add just the right amount of sass to any outfit! My favorites are "Cruella" by NARS and "Ruby Woo" by MAC.
4. (MR. JONES EDIT) MAKE SURE YOU HANG IT BACK UP IN YOUR HUSBAND'S CLOSET (#happytearsemoji)
