I’ve talked and talked about how much I love fashion’s new colors, but my love affair with these hues reminiscent of a cotton candy sunset sky has just begun! There are so many ways from sweet and sophisticated to wear rose quartz and serenity, it would be impossible to show you on my own. That’s why I decided to enlist my fabulous blogger babes to help me illustrate a few of the possibilities!
I'm not sure about you, but these photos are making it hard to think about wearing anything other than harmonious shades of dusty pink and soft blue. Here are a few ways you too can pull off this angelic color duo:
1. SERENITY WITH A SPLASH OF ROSE QUARTZ
Julianna from Blush and Camo shows us how rose quartz can be sweet without being too girly. The sleek lines and silhouette of her jumpsuit create an elevated look that is sophisticated and modern. Her beautiful bag provides just the right amount of color and makes a statement against her monochromatic ensemble.
2. ROSE QUARTZ WITH A SPLASH OF SERENITY
On the flip side, I paired a contemporary fit and flare dress with a cropped sweater of the same hue to make the dress season-appropriate. STYLE TIP: wearing a cropped long sleeve top over a dress is ideal for transitioning into spring and makes a bold statement when both are the same color! The structured Rebecca Minkoff bag added a micro pop of pink and accented my rose gold statement necklace.
3. A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH
Molly from Style Miss Molly teaches us how to put a fresh spin on classic wardrobe pieces with equal parts serenity and rose quartz. The darker hue of her jacket offers a chic alternative to serenity and ramps up the drama when paired with pastel pink. Her demure body-con midi dress and strappy sandals are balanced out by the structure of the trench coat, creating one A+ look!
There are countless ways to interpret this trend and I encourage you to take some fashion risks and be daring this spring! I'd love to hear how you would like to style these colors this spring in the comments! As always, for more style inspiration, you can follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram!
Have a fabulous weekend!
