In today’s post I’m spilling the beans on one of the gifts I got for our family so we can feel safer in our home in 2019.

While using the Nextdoor app and being connected with neighbors through groups on Facebook, I noticed our neighborhood might not be as safe as we had thought. I was constantly worried about packages that were being delivered and every time our dog, Dwayne would bark in the middle of the night when Skyler was out of town.

JETT'S 6 MONTH UPDATE

I’m a little behind on monthly updates (Jett just turned 8 months), but I still wanted to share a 6 month update with y’all since I had everything documented. I know I say in every update post that time is flying, but every month that goes by seems to go faster and faster. My only parenting advice continues to be soak up every single moment (even the bad ones) because they don’t last long! Oh and take a bagillion photos because those last forever!

Hydroflask Cooler Backpack. We take this to the beach (or pool) every weekend and it’s AMAZING! It keeps everything so cold, fits just as much as our Yeti did, and it’s a lot easier to carry than a cooler.
North Face Vest. The quilting on this vest is so unique and cool!
Bose Home 500 Bluetooth Speaker. These speakers are so loud and the sound quality is top notch.
Yeti Rambler. Skyler uses one of these every day!
Common Project Chelsea Boots. Sky has these in 2 colors and wears them every weekend. I happen to think they’re very sexy on him!
Bose Soundsport Headphones. You can’t go wrong with a great pair of headphones!
Aesop Mouthwash. A bottle pretty enough to be left on the counter!
Nike Epic React. Skyler wears these to run in and said that they were the best shoe for Orange Theory!
Vans. Can’t go wrong with the classics!

UE ROLL 2. These are AWESOME for summer activities, camping, etc! You can also get more than one and they connect to each other for a surround sound effect!
David Yurman Spiritual Beads. This bracelet is one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever given Skyler because he wears it every day!
Panasonic HomeHawk. SHHHHH I got this for Skyler this year!
After Hours Decanter Set. Absolutely gorgeous in person too!
Patagonia Jacket. I love the contrast hem and cuffs on this one.
