When I initially found out I was pregnant, I thought we'd be finding out the sex of our baby in November. My dad LOVED Christmas (he literally covered our entire house in lights one year), so I thought it would only be right to make him smile big from heaven when he saw our little Christmas tree light up with pink or blue lights! Last year Pottery Barn's plaid ornaments caught my eye and when I saw them again this season, I knew I had to DIY some! We have a small Christmas tree, so I wouldn't need to purchase that many but even at $5 on sale, the PB ornaments are a little out of my price range.
