Messy topknots seem so easy and quick, but that isn’t always the case. The messy ones eventually fall down if you have really long hair, or it just doesn’t look messy enough and a little too polished. I set out on a messy-ish topknot mission about a year ago- I wanted it to stay in/up all day, but not be so ballerina-bun perfect. Friends, I finally figured it out and it only takes 2 minutes or less! Keep reading for all of my must-have products and a video tutorial that will help you achieve the perfect “messy-ish” topknot!Read More
When I first laid eyes on Rebecca Minkoff's Sofia Handbags, it was love at first sight! Of course I thought to myself " I HAVE to have this bag!" but the more practical side of my brain was saying, "It's not in your budget, Haley!" That's when I decided to DIY a similar version so I could have my cake and eat it too! This DIY is super simple and you can do it for less than $50! #fashionwin!Read More

It's that time of year again when a lot of us start going back to the gym, drinking smoothies, and become more healthy people! If you're anything like me, you might have over indulged a bit over the holidays and aren't feeling too great about yourself. That's when tunic sweaters like this come to the rescue. Not only are they super comfortable, but they also cover up more than usual and that's just what I need for a few weeks while I bust my booty at the gym!
This tunic sweater in particular is amazing because it's made of soft jersey material and feels like wearing a t-shirt. Pair it with some stretchy skinny jeans, and you're all set to feel great while accomplishing whatever health goals you may have for 2016!
Speaking of fitness goals in the new year, I wanted to share a few tunes with you that really amp up my sweat sessions. Yesterday I cycled for an hour and despite feeling like I might pass out, these songs really kept me going. I've added them all to one Pandora station, and it's great for long cardio sessions that can get really boring! If you're more inspired by cute gear for the gym, check out my Pinterest page for fashionable workout apparel, healthy recipes, etc.!
If you have any music recommendations for me, I would love for you to leave them in the comments below. Have a great day!
Christmas is only three days away and it's time to start packing! I'm going to California to spend Christmas with Mr. Jones' family for a week and I'm super excited. This outfit will be coming along with me because the bright red sweater is so festive and cozy too.
Packing can be really overwhelming for a long trip, especially with bulky winter clothes. Over the years, Mr. Jones and I have created a packing list template that we use to make sure we have the right outfits for every occasion and don't forget anything important. Since this checklist has become so routine for us, I wanted to share it with you! Below, I started to fill one out so you can see how I use it. You can download the PDF here!
I'd love to hear what you think of this packing list in the comments below! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Sometimes you just need a wear anywhere kind of dress and my friends, this Knotted Knit Dress is it! You can dress it up for a holiday party, or dress it down with tights, boots, and a chunky cardigan. The skirt portion of the dress is also lined, so it isn't super thin. This is amazing because let's face it, sometimes thin jersey dresses just don't feel right on the booty!
The red Longchamp bag I'm carrying has a bow on it because it's also on my Gift Guide For Her and if you ask me, it's one of the best gifts out there! I use mine all of the time for so many occasions! So tell me, what is number one on your wish list this year?!
It's Thanksgiving week, y'all! For my third Thanksgiving outfit inspiration post, I decided to dress up my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans. These jeans are so comfortable it's like wearing pajama bottoms, but with a nice pair of pumps and a crisp white bow blouse, you'll look chic and feel amazing even after consuming a few too many calories!
There was a lot of buzz over this year's red Starbucks cup and many failed to notice it's beautiful ombre color. It's not just a red cup, people! I have to admit, even I didn't notice it at first, but when I did, it inspired me to do a DIY ombre manicure. I just used two different Sally Hansen gel polish colors (Red Eye and Dig Fig). First, I painted my entire nail with the bright red color. Next, I painted the top half with the dark red color. Lastly, I used the clear topcoat to blend the two red colors together. Ta-da!

Last weekend, my friend Mary was in town from Milwaukee (come back!). It was so fun to hang out downtown and explore the market's delightful flower vendors, fresh fish, and delicious fruit. We had lunch at The Pink Door on their cheerful patio overlooking Elliott Bay. The food was delicious and it's always so much fun to catch up with my college girlfriends!
