In the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday, I had been traveling a lot for work and forgot to pack something for church. Luckily, I had this beautiful Halston dress with me and borrowed a shirt from my mom (thanks, mom!) to wear over it. Easter turned out to be such a beautiful day and the weather was so nice! Spending time in Lexington with my family was so relaxing and prepared me for many more weeks on the road. How was your Easter Sunday?
In Bloom
In my last post I told you how I am hooked on Old Navy's Pixie Pants. It is becoming a serious love affair- how amazing is this floral printed pair?! They are the perfect pant for spring even though we might be experiencing winter temperatures in Nashville today.
Cheers to the weekend and Go Cats!
March Madness
March Madness is upon us, y'all! The SEC tournament will take place this weekend in Nashville and I cannot wait. The weather will be perfect for my vintage wildcats sweater, can you believe I found this in Dallas? If you're in Nashville this weekend, make sure to check out Barista Parlour. The coffee is to-die-for and you have to try their homemade pop-tarts. Have yourself a happy little weekend!
Starry Light
I Heart You
I wore this skirt at our wedding reception, so it goes without saying why it is the perfect piece to wear on a day that celebrates love. I'll be wearing this ensemble for our Valentine's dinner, but even if you don't have big plans for V-Day, why not frolic around town in a tulle skirt?! This Space 46 number will instantly put you in a good mood and might even inspire compliments from strangers. Pair it with a plaid shirt for a more casual look, a chic crop top for date night, or a pastel sweater for Sunday outings...the sky is the limit!
Most importantly, have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Be Mine
Valentine's Day is one week away and this Rebecca Minkoff heart handbag couldn't be more perfect for the occasion. You might be getting all dolled up for date night next Saturday, but why not dress the part all day with one of these cute and cozy sweaters from ASOS (2-day shipping is only $12)!

Sweater Weather
The cold months after New Year's always seem to last forever. I am ready for spring, but unfortunately sweater weather is still in full swing! To make the wait for warmer weather a little bit easier, I find that pieces with pastel hues do the trick. They also make transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring so much easier!

American Girl
Nashville has been so cold lately and I don't know what I would have done without this amazing faux fur coat! My mom surprised me with the coat and this adorable American flag infinity scarf for Christmas (thanks, Mom!). The temperatures here are supposed to rise this weekend, but until then I will be bundled up in this fluffy coat. Have a happy and (hopefully) warm Tuesday!
University of Kentucky
I was born and raised a UK Wildcats fan in Lexington, Kentucky. Both Mr. Jones and I went to different universities (I am a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati DAAP program), however we remain devoted to our home team. This explains why this vintage Kentucky sweater is indeed the most coveted item in my closet. Not only is it a rare find, but I get compliments on it all of the time! Since stumbling upon this unique piece of Wildcat history, I have been on the lookout for a similar varsity sweater that would fit Mr. Jones. I haven't found one yet, but that doesn't mean I can't make one! Below you will find a list of items to make your own varsity cardigan. If you aren't keen on sewing the patch on yourself, take the cardigan and patch to your local tailor for a small fee. If you create your own varsity cardigan, tag @meandmr.jones on instagram, I would love to see how you show your school spirit!
